Dr. Dartson is a licensed psychologist in private practice. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Dartson earned a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Dartson specializes in individual and family therapy, psychological testing, and forensic psychology. Dr. Dartson was also an adjunct professor of psychology at Paul Quinn College for many years. She is a published author, and has contributed her professional advice to forms of media such as Family Digest and Jet Magazines, The Family Digest Show, and The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. She is also a contributing author to Hell Hath No Fury, a guide to interpersonal relationships. Dr. Dartson is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the Knights of Peter Claver, Ladies, Auxiliary, and is a classically trained pianist and vocalist.
